Shipping/handling charges will be a flat $3.50 per order for the USA and Canada regardless of the number of items you purchase. Some heavier items have the extra postage cost built into the list price. This charge automatically appears in your total during checkout.

Metallium, Inc. is not responsible for lost packages. You may purchase shipping insurance at an additional cost to insure against loss. If you are outside the USA or Canada, please email for shipping/handling charges before completing your order.

All items will be safely packed by Metallium and shipped by United States Postal Service in accordance with USPS Publication 52. Shipping by UPS or Federal Express is available if requested by the buyer (for an additional expense) or in some cases will be used as a preferred carrier by Metallium for particular shipments.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your package will ship within 1 to 2 days after Paypal, credit card payments, and/or money orders are received. Personal checks may require clearance from the bank prior to shipment (up to 10 days). For orders that contain items that are either out of stock or require some time to make, we may, at our discretion, make a partial shipment to you and complete the shipment at a later date at our expense.

You will be notified by email when your order ships, or when a firm shipment date is available for your order.
,br> All appropriate MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for the products in your order are available to you as the buyer upon request to Metallium.

You will be able to select premium shipping services before you checkout. These services include Priority Mail, insured mail, registered mail and international shipping. See Premium Shipping Services.

International Shipping Notes and Some Observations:

All import duties and taxes are your responsibility. The import procedures, duties and taxes your country imposes is a function of your country's customs service. We have no information about it, and direct you back to them to secure answers to any questions you may have about import duties and how you may avoid or minimize them.

Non-expedited shipments sent via normal USPS air, surface or Global Priority mail cannot be tracked. Such shipments can be traced only long after the fact, and solely for the purpose of a lost article insurance claim. This is due to limited technology within the USPS itself, and the inability of other nations' mail services to integrate with it.

For that reason, we can only confirm shipment dates for international shipments and not initiate tracing until the full, estimated delivery period has expired. This is two weeks for Global Priority and 4 weeks for air shipment. There is no purpose in tracking down mail that is not yet overdue.

Most delays and problems that we (and our customers) have experienced with international shipments appear to occur in either the customs office and/or the local post office in the destination country. Most of the variability in shipment duration is due to the time spent in customs, or awaiting pickup by the recipient at your post office. If you feel your package is late, please first check with your local post office and customs office. We have seen delays of up to two months in rare cases, and up to one month in occasional cases. Most causes of delays that were verifiable by the customer were a result of packages being held by the destination country's customs office.

For valuable packages, we have had very good results with Registered mail shipping. It costs an additional $8.00 (purchased by the buyer) to register a package to an international destination. In some cases shipment has been slower but so far ("knock on wood" as we say in the USA) registered packages have always reached their destination.
