Metallium, Inc. ensures the privacy of customers. The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to explain what personal information is needed, why it is needed and how it is protected. The information collected about you is used to process your order efficiently and to provide you with a personalized and enjoyable online experience. Details about the privacy policy are described below. This policy may change from time to time so please check back periodically.
Security - Customer Information
All customer data that is collected is stored off-line and is completely protected against unauthorized access. Customer information that is stored by Metallium, Inc. consists of customer name, address, email address if provided, and telephone number if provided. Credit card numbers are never stored and are not even accessible by Metallium, Inc., see next section.
Electronic Payments Security
Paypal is used by this site for electronic payments and is a popular, very secure method of payment. When you place orders using the Paypal functions, a secure server and secure server software (SSL)-based encryption is utilized for all information you input. When you sign up for a Paypal account or use an existing account, Paypal stores your credit card information and bank information (if you have provided it to them). Metallium, Inc. never sees your credit card or bank information, for security reasons and because there is no need for Metallium, Inc. to see that information. An exception to this is when a customer places an order by submitting credit card information over the telephone. Once Metallium, Inc. processes the credit card number, all records of the credit card information made at Metallium, Inc are destroyed.
Metallium, Inc. may periodically notify you by email about important changes to the Web site, new products and services, and special offers that may be of interest to you. If you would rather not receive this information, please send an email to metallium@comcast.net and indicate your desire to not receive this information. All requests will be dutifully honored.
Sharing Customer Information
Under no circumstances will any customer’s information be shared or distributed without the express consent of the customer. The customer list for Metallium, Inc. will be kept off-line and private.
Use of "Cookies"
The Paypal function uses cookies (small pieces of information that are stored by your Web browser on your computer's hard drive) to remember the contents of your shopping cart as you make your selections. No other cookies are used by this website.
Children under 18
Metallium, Inc. does not seek to collect personal information about children. If a child submits information through any part of our website and we know that the person submitting the information is a child, we delete the information as soon as we discover it and do not use it for any purpose, nor do we disclose it to third parties.
