5-PIECE ALKALI-METAL ELEMENT SET IN GLASS AMPOULES
Offered here is a 5-piece set of the Alkali series metals permanently sealed in glass ampoules.
The ampoules are about 1 1/2 inches long (37mm) and about 1/4 inch diameter (7 mm).
Contains: Lithium, Sodium, Potassium, Rubidium and Cesium.
These metals are sealed in Argon gas to preserve either the shine of the metal or the appearance of the element.
The ampoules are neatly labeled with the element symbol, name and atomic number.
The set will be safely packaged to prevent breakage during shipment.
NOTES:
1. This set can only be shipped within the USA (no international orders) due to hazardous-material shipping regulations.
2. A signed disclaimer is required prior to shipping this product, please inquire.
3. These elements samples are small but can be dangerous if the glass is broken. Rubidium and Cesium will catch
fire upon exposure to air, and all of the metals in the set will react violently with water, releasing
hydrogen gas and possibly igniting it.
